Service at Martha’s Table
On November 18, 2025, the GCTK community successfully hosted a service event at Martha’s Table, providing a warm pizza dinner from 3:00 to 5:00 pm in honor of Hindu Heritage Month. Members and volunteers came together to support the local community, reflecting the values of compassion, service, and togetherness.
Celebration of Hindu Heritage Month
GCTK successfully celebrated Hindu Heritage Month on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at St. Andrew’s By the Lake United Church in Kingston. The event featured devotional singing and an insightful presentation on the significance of Hindu Heritage Month. It concluded with a community-contributed meal, bringing everyone together in a warm spirit of unity and celebration.
Diwali Celebration & Lakshmi Puja
The Geetanjali Cultural Temple of Kingston celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm and devotion. The event featured a beautiful Lakshmi Puja performed by Pandit Vivek Ji, followed by a delicious community meal prepared and served by our dedicated volunteers. The celebration was further brightened by vibrant cultural performances from young members of the community, adding joy and spirit to the occasion.
We extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed their time, effort, and generosity in making the Diwali Mandir a grand success.
KGG Navratri 27 Sep 2025
The Hindu Mandir Kingston community joyfully celebrated KGG Navratri on 27 September 2025, bringing devotees together for an evening of devotion, music, and traditional Garba. The celebration reflected the spirit of unity, reverence, and cultural pride, as families and friends gathered to honor the divine feminine energy and share the vibrant traditions of Navratri.
