Welcome to the Hindu Mandir of Kingston Project
(Last updated on 6 April 2026)
Dear All,
We are so pleased to receive excellent feedback on Mata Ki Chowki event, which truly radiated a powerful spiritual energy. What stood out the most was the heartfelt participation of the younger generation who was singing bhajans and clapping with complete devotion. It was incredibly uplifting to witness our traditions being preserved and celebrated so beautifully by the new generation. The Executive Committee of Geetanjali Cultural Temple is so grateful to Mrs. Ranjana and Dr. Prakash Darbar & family for hosting this mesmerizing event.
The Committee is so thankful to Pandit Vijay Sharma, Mrs. Ashu Sharma, Vidhi Sharma, and Aditya for coming to Kingston to perform Mata Ki Chowki. The soulful singing by Pandit ji and Vidhi Sharma created a truly spiritual atmosphere, and Aditya did a wonderful job on the dholak.
We are also grateful to all the volunteers, especially Aparna Kapoor, Sanjeev Kapoor, Kartik, Meeta Bhatt, Akshaj Darbar, Shreeya Darbar, Love Preet, Kiran Preet, Mukesh Patel, Hitesh Patel, Mayur Vadher, Nilesh Patel, Hitesh Patel (Walmart), Deepak Kumar, Aditi Kumar, Sat Chaudhary, Vinod Vohra, Vijay and Gulshan Babbar for setting up the venue and helping with housekeeping at the end of the event. Sincere thanks are also due to Hardeep from Lala Masala for the preparing the delicious food and staying till the end to ensure everything went smoothly.
Last but not the least, we are thankful to all those who made donations to the Geetanjali Temple. New donations can be made at Bayridge Grocery by cash, cheque or e-transfer. Please send e-transfers at: geetanjaliculturaltemple@gmail.com
